We're two best friends turned wedding planners, designing enthralling wedding experiences for real-life, real-love couples

We know that wedding planning is hard work! It is emotional and deeply personal, which is why the heart behind A Lovely Day is one of servitude. We genuinely love all of our couples and treat them with the individuality, respect and compassion that we do our closest friends. Give it all to us - the big, the small, the happy and the sad. We want the process of planning your wedding to be special for you by creating the space for you to experience the joy of being engaged and celebrate the beginning of your marriage. It's deeply personal to us too - it is our hope that the attention to detail, extra care items that focus on your relationship, and keeping you in our thoughts throughout our time together will be a blessing in your life - more than just a photographer or vendor who made you look good.

Come say hello! We can't wait to meet you.

I love helping our couples create joy in their lives while taking a creative approach to traditional wedding challenges. Starting A Lovely Day with Emma allowed me to combine my skill-set and passions in order to make our corner of the world a bit of a better place. In the evenings you'll find me cooking with friends & fresh flowers in the kitchen, or watching my childhood love, college football! I'm also a the nerd half who loves podcasts, politics & learning new languages. Although I enjoy going out with loved ones, I also love my downtime at home with my fiancé, Andrew, and chocolate lab, Beau.

Being part of our couple's most joyous day & making their dreams come true is so meaningful to me. From launching our business to working with all of the amazing vendors Michigan has to offer - I love it all. Most weekends you can find me attending a concert, going to the movies, or shoe shopping with my best friends (preferably in pink! Mean Girls fan here). When I'm not roaming our great mitten state, I'm probably cuddling with my husband (and high school sweetheart) Tony, and our two cats, Stormbringer (Kitty) and Horace.
