Caroline + Mike's Classic, Elegant, Christmas Wedding Celebration
Well friends, we're officially six days away from Christmas. We've given the Netflix Christmas section a real run for its money (our faves? 12 Dates of Christmas, A Christmas Prince and Christmas Inheritance), our shopping is almost done and we're ready to make all the cookies this weekend.
So we figured it was about time that we introduce you all to the most Christmas-lovin' woman we've ever met: Caroline.
We met Caroline in early 2016 - maybe it was the glass of wine she had in her hand when she answered our Skype call, or maybe it was her precious lab, Tucker - but we instantly knew that we wanted to help her plan the Christmas wedding of her dreams. It's hard to note instantly fall in love with the girl who calls you the #ALDivas.
Caroline and her wonderful and kind fiancé, Mike had an elegant, Christmas-filled, country club wedding in December 2016. Below are a few of our favorite snaps from Benjamin David Photography.
There were pops of classic Christmas red throughout the entire day. From the invitation suite to the beautiful sash around Caroline's gown. Her inspiration? The preppy styling of a J.Crew Holiday catalog.
Caroline got ready for the big day in their newly purchased home - we couldn't help but love that their dining room perfectly matched the color palette for the rest of the day. Talk about carrying out a theme *wink*.
The ceremony was filled with personal touches. Caroline and Mike became husband and wife in the beautiful alumni chapel on their alma matter's campus. Christmas music played as Caroline's brothers walked her down the aisle. It was the perfect beginning for C+M.
We coordinated Caroline + Mike's celebration, along with styling the reception tables. The design was simple: classic tartan, evergreen, and lots of candlelight in filled mercury glasses. If only you could have seen the multiple Christmas trees brought in to the country club!
Caroline and Mike spent the rest of the night dancing, surrounded by their closest friends and family, as snow fell gently outside. It was the type of day that made you remember what the Holidays are truly about: love, family, and lots of laughter.
